Our Journey Begins...

On 22 July 2021 the Australian Constitutional Law Journal (ACLJ) was officially started with the goal of providing an academic platform for lawyers and scholars to express their ideas freely. The ACLJ is a private scholar-led, not-for-profit law journal.

The journal grew from a recognition that, particularly in Australia, the vast majority of academic publications are restrictive, and organised either through universities or private institutes. Such established publications lack the flexibility to provide a rebust, lively platform for academics to express their ideas freely.

At the Australian Constitutional Law Journal, we are committed to academic freedom and the robust debates which once were equated with academia.

If you are a lawyer or academic, whether in Australia or abroad, we would be glad to take your submissions for publication!
